First, it was happened when I was just six years old. I took part in a summer camp which lasted five days. That was my first time leaving my parents to a strange place and stayed with strange people. Staffs arranged a lot of activities, like singing, dancing, telling stories and so on. On the third night, all children were watching cartoon in the living room. I were reveling in the film, suddenly I found all teachers were disappeared. A few minutes latter, a teacher came back. He was nervous. He declared that he received a phone call from police, so now all children should go back to bedrooms. On the way to my bedroom, teacher told our team that someone was murdered. I felt a butterfly in my stomach. Then I heard a voice said, “Look!” I saw some blood on the ground, at that moment, I raised my head, a woman with white clothes and long disorderly hair was jumped in my eyes. She was hung on the tree. All I can do just scream and scream. At final, I realized that the woman was a fake. All things are designed to test our responses.
Second, it was on my graduated day in elementary school. I remembered my teacher said that today is a big day; everyone should make sure your appearance is wonderful. So we check clothes and hair with each other. Our teacher, a 60 years old man, wanted to comb his hair, but there is no mirror in the classroom. He took out his comb and said, “Could someone help me?” Nobody raise hands. Then I couldn’t believe it happened. He called my name. I finished this task under everyone’s stare. It was really a hard work to comb rare hair.
Third, when I was a little girl, I lived with my grandmother in the Taichung county. I usually played with my cousins. We tried to catch frogs in the field; climbed the wall into the school; shoot off fireworks on Chinese New Years Eve. At that time, I really have a very happy childhood.

Bad Luck
I am optimism. I always believe that every problem has a solution. But I also believe “bad luck” really exists.
A good example happened on my trip to New York this winter break. I still remembered, with an excited heart, I went to the airport. On the way, the thought “the plane may delay” was always in my mind. Then as expected, it happened. All planes delay. It took me almost twelve hours to New York.
However, bad luck usually comes incessantly. Before going to New York, I heard the news says that the New York subway workers are going to strike. My uncle, who lived in New York more than fifteen years, told me this never happened before, so I think this situation won’t happen. Tragically, it really happened. That day, I had to move out from one hotel to another. I carried my big luggage walked from the 112th street to the 4th street. I rarely hope someone can give me a ride, because I was in New York not in Russellville. When I was proud of crossing more than one hundred streets, my feet got hurt.Murphy’s Law, if anything can go wrong, it will, was proved. Even though, I am not so hate the bad luck. It can relieve the importance of good luck.

Why People Use Slang?
Slang exists in all kinds of language. Not only English has slang, but also Chinese has a lot of slang. I think the main reason just like this article mentioned, people are individuals who desire uniqueness. Slang always has metaphoric meaning. It can be secret so young people like to use slang to show that they belong to a certain group.
Someone may criticize the use of slang, believing that it is informal language. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter the language itself. It depends on the person who uses slang. Shakespeare often used slang and his writing became literature. Slang can properly express someone’s thought. You may find that sometimes you use a lot of sentence still couldn’t express your thought, but slang could. Don’t you think so?
